Grand Opening Celebration

Published: July 8, 2021

The Residences at Plainview held its grand opening celebration on June 24th joined by Town of Oyster Bay Supervisor Joseph Saladino, Legislator Arnold Drucker, and Town Councilman Louis Imbroto.

During the ribbon cutting, our first residents Peggy and Rita were sandwiched in between Saladino, Drucker and Scott Stewart, the founder of Capitol Seniors Housing.

Saladino and Drucker both presented The Residences at Plainview with citations. The Residences is managed by Chelsea Senior Living and owned by Capitol Seniors Housing.

Our community’s been open since February, but we wanted to celebrate when COVID-19 restrictions were lifted and, most importantly, to celebrate in a safe environment.

There were about 150 people who attended the celebration.

The Residences is equipped with an assortment of amenities and features. Residents can swim in the indoor or outdoor pool, exercise in our Fitness Room and Studio, hang out in the Sports Bar and Bistro, relax in the lounges, socialize in the activity pavilion with areas for card playing, computer surfing, sewing, arts and crafts, and reading in the library, plus a movie theater and multipurpose room. We also have an Executive Chef who prepares three meals a day for our residents in our expansive dining room and weekly housekeeping, among a long list of additional services.
