The weather’s hot and sticky but our events this month will keep you cool and refreshed. We’ve got some baseball, music, and burgers plus much more. Here’s a sneak peak at what’s going on in our community for August.
August 11th, 12:00 p.m. – Eisenhower Park Concert Series featuring Tangerine
We’re taking a trip to Eisenhower Park for their concert series featuring the musical group Tangerine. Meet us there or come join us for the ride over!
August 12th, 6:35 p.m. – Long Island Ducks vs. Southern Maryland Blue Crabs
Take me out to the ballgame! Our residents are breaking out their mitts as they try to snag a foul ball or two during the Long Island Ducks game. Let’s root for the home team!
August 17th, 7:00 p.m. – Music Under the Stars featuring Bay City Ramblers, Outdoor Patio
Continuing our Music Under the Stars Series, we’ve got Bay City Ramblers jamming outside on our patio. We’ll have some good snacks, good drinks, and, of course, good people!
August 22nd, 12:00 p.m. – Burger Bar luncheon, Dining Room
In honor of National Burger Day, we’re bringing out our Burger Bar. Make your own burger with all kinds of toppings and condiments. Indulge until you can’t any longer…
August 24th, 7:00 p.m. – Music Under the Stars featuring Dave Patrick, Outdoor Patio
Join our residents for this solo performance from Dave Patrick, part of our Music Under the Stars series.
August 26th, 7:00 p.m. – Comedy Night featuring Mark Brier, Multimedia Center
Get ready to laugh with longtime standup performer Mark Brier. Mark’s been a comedian since 1977 and he has appears in The Catskills, The Poconos, on cruise ships, and in comedy clubs all over the country.
August 31st, 7:00 p.m. – Music Under the Stars featuring Richard Weinstein, Outdoor Patio
Wrapping up our August Music Under the Stars Series, we’ve got Richard Weinstein. We’d love to have you come by, listen, dance, and enjoy the tunes!
